NEW DELHI: New Delhi has indicated that Pakistan should look for the remaining evidence against the Mumbai attacks suspects on Pakistani soil if Indian dossiers are insufficient, with Indian Home Minister P Chidambaram asking “Pakistan to bake fully evidence against the perpetrators of the attack if it is half-baked”.

Addressing a press conference on Wednesday, Chidambaram claimed the remaining evidence was available on Pakistani soil.

“If it is half-baked, they (Pakistan) are welcome to bake it fully,” he said while replying to a question about Pakistan’s statement that a “half-baked” case against Hafiz Saeed could not be taken to court. “All the baking ingredients are in Pakistan,” he said, adding that all the evidence on Indian soil has had been shared with Pakistan.

About the encounters in Kashmir, the Indian minister said while infiltrations had gone up a bit, the levels of violence and causalities had been lower in 2009 compared to corresponding periods over the last years.
